In the seclusion of the desert oasis, which is called the "largest living museum in the world", a dreamlike luxury tent resort awaits its guests. Based on eco-tourism, a beautiful and comfortable hotel of a different kind has been created in this enchanting place amid sandy climes. The desert landscape, broken by individual rock walls, provides a special eye-catcher and puts the guests in an incomparable vacation feeling. At Banyan Tree AlUla, it's all about enjoying, pampering and experiencing an oriental adventure!

Rooms

True to the motto "elegance meets nature", the villas are kept in the Nabataean architecture. This is based on the nomadic nature: Inspired by the surrounding rocks, the building fabric is made of solid and robust materials. A canvas cover serves both to protect from the sun and to maintain privacy. At the same time, the Banyan Tree AlUla has been designed with sufficient views in mind to give one a fabulous view from within as well. The interior is kept simple and noble. This is complemented by Arabic accents and atmospheric lighting elements. The villas are rounded off by pools that provide welcome cooling at any time.

Culinary

There are three restaurants to choose from at Banyan Tree Al Ula: With an Asian touch, the Saffron impresses with its warm and harmonious interior design. Exotic Thai flavors await you here. The Arabian Restaurant is traditionally Middle Eastern. Classic and modern Middle Eastern dishes are served in an elegant ambience. Guests can indulge themselves all day long at Alban, which offers convincing local and international dishes.

Activities

The day's program includes various explorations of the surrounding area. These include the 52-hectare ancient city of Hegra, which is the country's first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, among other things, over one hundred tombs with elaborate facades can be discovered. Archaeological sites such as ancient Dadan, numerous rustic rock art areas and old Hijaz railroad stations are among the other interesting sights in this area. And nature also holds some treasures: Besides the lush oasis valley, imposing sandstone mountains can be marveled at here. As a contrast, the Banyan Tree AlUla has a wonderful spa. Healing thermal water and professional massages in the hotel's wellness area provide pleasant relaxation after an eventful day.
